Retreat to Rockliffe Hall for a fully immersive spa experience
Rockliffe Hall is well known for its golfing facilities, but the County Durham-based spa is now starting to win accolades for its spa as well.
The former manor house has 50,000 square feet devoted to spa and treatment facilities, which include a state of the art gym, exercise classes, a 20m pool, a thermal suite, a hydrotherapy room and physiotherapy treatment areas.
You can also enjoy fine dining during your visit, as at the start of 2015 Rockliffe Hall welcomed Michelin-starred chef, Richard Allen, to take the helm in the Orangery restaurant. The restaurant has since been awarded 3 AA Rosettes.
Adjacent to the spa, the most recent addition to Rockliffe Hall is a new Spa Garden, complete with an infinity edge experience pool. Indoors you’ll be treated to refreshments served by your very own concierge, while you relax on heated loungers. The Spa Garden can be booked as an extra to any Rockliffe experience, or you can hire it exclusively for the ultimate in indulgence during your break.
Rockliffe Hall Spa may make you feel like you’re a million miles away from home when you’re there, but it’s actually very convenient to get to. Located around five miles away from the town of Darlington, it’s surrounded by the manicured lawns of its famous golf course. To really make the most of the facilities and the peaceful location, it’s best to spend a night or even a weekend at the spa.
Complete your stay with an evening dip in the outdoor hot tub, or relax on the outdoor decking areas while you enjoy being indulged.
